Popular Lies Against the Atonement Made In Jesus Christ

One of the hallmarks of Satan's workings is to assail the very atonement which Jesus Christ came to this earth to accomplish for sinners. Take a look at very popular lies people are falling for everywhere. These lies are approved by Oprah Winfrey. Through her warm and likeable personality she deceives millions who do not know the Word of God and who fall for her winsome presentations: HERESIES: A “slain Christ has no meaning.” A Course in Miracles, p. 425 “The journey to the cross should be the last ‘useless journey.’” A Course in Miracles, p. 52 "The full awareness of the Atonement, then, is the recognition that the separation never occurred." A Course in Miracles, p. 98 “The Atonement is the final lesson he [man] need learn, for it teaches him that, never having sinned, he has no need of salvation.” A Course in Miracles, p. 237 “Do not make the pathetic error of ‘clinging to the old rugged cross.’ The only message of the crucifixion is that you can overcome the cross.” A Course in Miracles, Text, p. 52 THE TRUTH: Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?" Colossians 1:13-14 "Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil age..." Galatians 1:3-4 The message that Oprah Winfrey and her many New Age guests present is that we don't need "the old rugged cross" - that we don't need the atonement Jesus Christ accomplished for us at the tremendous price he paid. "Therefore whoever confesses me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies me before men, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven." Matthew 10:32-33 With her message denying the necessity of "the old rugged cross," she has "trampled the Son of God underfoot," and she has sealed her fate. She, along with her New Age guests are responsible for the corruption of millions whose fate will be the same by having received her Christ-less message.
