He Will Come Only For His Own

"For I delivered to you as of first importance

what I also received: that Christ died for our sins

according to the Scriptures, and that he was buried,

and that he rose again the third day according

to the Scriptures, and that he was seen by Cephas,

then by the twelve. After that he was seen

by over five hundred brethren at once,

of whom the greater part remain to the present,

but some have fallen asleep.

After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles."

1 Corinthians 15:3-7

One remarkable detail of this story is that after Jesus Christ rose from the dead he appeared ONLY to those who believed in him. There is no mention of him being seen by the priests or any other "religious" people. Even so, when he comes for the believers - he will take only his own, those who have been born again. That's why Jesus EMPHASIZED you MUST be born again.

"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again

he CANNOT see the kingdom of God.

John 3:3

The day after the Rapture, the churches will still be filled with religious people. They will have some explanation for why we're gone. Scripture says they will be given over to "strong delusion."

"And for this reason God will send them

STRONG DELUSION, that they should believe the lie,

that they all may be condemned

who did not believe the truth

but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

They are being prepared for that even now, in churches teaching false feel-good doctrine.

"For the time will come when

they will not endure sound doctrine,

but according to their own desires,

because they have itching ears,

they will heap up for themselves teachers,

and they will turn their ears AWAY FROM THE TRUTH,

and be turned aside to fables."

2 Timothy 4:3-4

The churches will be filled with people who have turned to teachers who teach pleasant things, prosperity, feel-good tenets, how you can get what you want because God wants you healthy, wealthy and wise. No mention of sin. No mention of repentance. And . . . and this is important to remember - there will be false signs and wonders which will deceive many, because they have been given over to "strong delusion, that they should believe the lie."

The coming of the Lord is almost upon us. Chuck Missler used to say, "when you see Christmas decorations in the stores, you know that Thanksgiving is near." Even so, as we see the events of "the last days" coming together, as we see the prophesied global government and ecumenical religion forming, as we see all the set-up being put into place for the "New World Order" - the time the Bible identifies as the Tribulation - we know that the coming of the Lord for his believers is near.

Another key that alerts believers that we're in the generation that will see the Lord's return is the fulfillment of the prophecies concerning Israel. The coming of the Lord could never have taken place in previous generations because the Bible indicated that Israel had to be back in their land after their 2,000 year dispersion throughout the world, and that only happened in this generation, in May of 1948.

There are many prophecies concerning the alignment of the nations that will play a major part in the Israel story after the Rapture - nations that previously were enemies with each other and have suddenly become allied just as they needed to be according to the Scriptures. It's quite astonishing. Three that have to be aligned are Iran, Russia, and Turkey, who were enemies of each other but today they are joined at the hip! Those who understand the Scriptures on these subjects are absolutely amazed at the impossible becoming possible right before our eyes.

The time is at hand. The Lord will be coming for his own before the wrath of God is poured out on this evil, Christ-rejecting world.

Do you desire truth? Or do you want to stay and continue listening to the prosperity teachers teaching what you want to hear? The choice is yours. Surrender to the truth, or you'll come under the "strong delusion." Many, MANY are already there.

Do not take a chance with your eternity. Come to the Lord in true heart-felt repentance and call upon him to save you while there is yet time. He is holding out his mercy, but the time is near when that door will be closed and it will be too late. Forever.

He beckons you, "Come!"
