The Valley Of Decision
In Jesus's message to the church at Philadelphia, he makes a huge point that many miss: "Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you out of the hour of trial which shall come upon all the world to try them who dwell upon the earth." Revelation 3:10 In this passage is found the great divide between those who will be taken by the Lord in the Rapture, and those who will be left behind, as well as the statement here of the purpose of the Rapture itself. Believers in Jesus Christ, those who have waited and watched for the Rapture, those who have endured patiently, will be kept OUT OF that terrible time, and those who are left behind will find themselves in that prophesied seven-year period, the period of great suffering in the time of the wrath of Almighty God. Jesus said that those days will be worse than anything that has ever happened on the earth before, or ever will thereafter. "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be." Matthew 24:21 It will be the last chance for salvation, and those who choose salvation after the Rapture will pay for that with their lives under the reign of the Antichrist, in Satan's final hour. They will be murdered. To everyone left behind, there will be a huge decision to make: either bow before the Lord Jesus Christ and surrender their lives to him and be saved, or the rest will forfeit all opportunity for salvation and will be thrown into the lake of fire in eternal damnation. "And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15 It's quite a decision to have to make. A very short martyrdom with salvation, or the incredible horror of the lake of fire for all eternity. Friends, there is still time to be kept from that seven-year period. Bow before the Lord Jesus Christ and surrender your life to him. Let today be the day of your salvation. For those who do, their names will be written in the "Lamb's Book of Life" and when the Rapture takes place, they will be taken with all believers to spend eternity with the Lord. The Lord has made it very clear that believers will be aware when they are in that season of time just before the Rapture. In 1st Thessalonians chapter 5, the Word of God states that the day of the wrath of God will come upon an unsuspecting world "as a thief in the night," BUT - it goes on to reassure the believer that because they are not walking in the darkness of the world, that day will not come upon them as a surprise, it will not overtake them as a thief, suggesting that believers will be aware when they are in the season of that time. "...they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief." 1st Thessalonians 5:3-4 The rest shall not escape the time of the wrath of God, but believers will: "For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ..." Many believers who have continued watching and waiting are quite aware that that time is almost upon us because ALL the signs are here. All the many signs the Word of God tells believers to watch for, are here! We've witnessed them. We're there, folks. Surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. Bow before him and be kept from the time of the wrath of Almighty God. Let him become your Lord and your Savior. He who knows you best loves you, and no matter what you've done he's ready to forgive you, no matter what. Accept the love of the One who brought you into the world and wants to keep you safely until the day you step into eternity. There's still time, but it's almost up. Surrender to him now. "Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision. For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision."
