The Gates Of Your Land Are Wide Open

"The gates of your land are wide open for your enemies; fire shall devour the bars of your gates." Nahum 3:13 Open borders are a judgment from God upon a society steeped in sin. And so it is when God brings judgment upon a people. Truly, the gates of their land are wide open for their enemies, and through those borders they come, some bringing disease, some bringing jihad. There's nothing to stop them. Believers raise their voice to no avail, without realizing it is God who allowed the borders to be opened to enemies, because of the immeasurable sin in this land. But the people are asleep, America doesn't realize what's going on because a "spirit of stupor" is upon the people. “God has given them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see and ears that they should not hear...” Romans 11:8 Scriptures tell us that in the last days there will be a great deception that will come upon the world: "The coming of the lawless one (the Antichrist) is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with ALL UNRIGHTEOUS DECEPTION among those who perish, BECAUSE they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved." 2nd Thessalonians 2:9-19 Surely it is upon us even now. What has happened in this country is just staggering. Who would have believed what we see now could happen in America the great? But it has. All that is good they call evil and what is evil they call good. What has been happening in America even exceeds the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah. So God has given them over to the lie. They are blinded so that they CANNOT see and ...those who cannot see will be condemned. vs 11-12: "And for this reason God will send them STRONG DELUSION, THAT THEY SHOULD BELIEVE THE LIE, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness." To those who understand what is going on – it's shocking to see what the world is saying and doing. Gary Stearman said that in the Scripture which says that in the last days perilous times will come – the word perilous can be translated “insane.” As I watch what they say and the incredible things they do – I've said SO many times, “this is insane” - not as a comment ...it's the truth. They do not remember what happened in the days of Noah, how he was "a preacher of righteousness" during that whole generation as he was building the ark. They do not remember what happened in Sodom, the desolation of which remains to this day. They refuse the warnings, they insist on their way, and they walk blindly into condemnation. It's their choice. So our borders are open, righteousness is being silenced, and judgment is walking freely into the land. There have been wars, rumors of war, earthquakes, famine, pestilence (disease) upon OUR world, all taking place concurrently, the signs Jesus told us to watch for which tell us we're in the last days. Scoffers say these things have always been, and that's true - every generation has had its great war or great earthquake or great fire or great flood. But Jesus said that the sign of the last days is that they will ALL happen in the same generation, as birth pangs in a woman in labor, becoming more frequent and stronger as the time of sorrows comes upon the world. At the end of a strong word like this I usually plead for sinners to come to repentance and many times I even write out a prayer to help them verbalize it. But not this time - because it's useless to try to persuade those who have been given over to deception. It's not that they won't see, it's that they CAN'T see. It's not that they refuse to hear, it's that they CANNOT hear. There's nothing more to say to them. "He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward is with me, to give to every one according to his work."

Revelation 22:11-12 Friends, we are in “the time of sorrows.” But take courage – the labor pains are going to produce the birth. We're going home.
