The Books Satan Has Raised Up To Replace God's Word

"For you have magnified your Word above all your name." Psalm 138:2 God places a value upon his Word that he says he honors even above his Name, and that should draw a "WOW" out of us. He honors his Word even above his NAME! The Word of God is the most sacred thing in the universe. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16 The words "by inspiration" are more accurately translated "God-breathed." It presents the totality of what God wishes to convey to us. Because of its inherent sacredness, mankind is strictly warned not to add to it nor to take away from it. "Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take away from it." Deuteronomy 12:32 But Satan has done just that. Many religions give a quiet nod to the Bible, but then add their own book which their people are expected to follow. The reason they refer to the Bible at all, is the trickery of Satan. He famously mixes truth and error knowing that the error of false teachers will be more accepted if they give their acknowledgment to the Bible to throw people off. But the warning is that ANY religion that claims to have a "holy" book other than or in addition to the Bible, is violating the very Word of God. The obvious ones are the Jehovah's Witnesses who promote their "Watchtower" writings. They claim to be adherents of the Bible, but in talking to them it becomes noticeable that many haven't even read it entirely, leaning instead on the Watchtower teachings of their elders using the corrupted "New World Translation." If you're a Jehovah's Witness and don't believe this, do some research on it. There's a lot out there showing how this translation is corrupt. The Mormons have the Book of Mormon. This group also claims to be Bible adherents, but again, their teachings are so far-fetched that it's obvious they haven't read the Bible but rather they lean on the elders' teachings from the Book of Mormon. Catholicism claims to adhere to the Bible. Their substitutionary book, the Catechism, says Jesus died to open the gates of heaven. The what? As a Catholic growing up, I had no idea what that meant, and no clue that it should have any importance to me. Years later when I read the Bible for the first time it was a tremendous shock to discover over and over and over again the contradictions between what the Bible teaches versus what the Catechism says. The Jews have the Talmuds, and other books. Needless to say, if Moses came back today he would not recognize the religion being practiced in adherence to the Talmuds. The Muslims have the Koran. Incredibly, they also say they revere the Bible, Satan is careful to put that tidbit into most false religions, but there is so much contradiction in their doctrines to the teachings of the Bible that it's hard to understand how they can say that with a straight face. They explain that the Bible of today is incorrect, and that Mohammed showed them the needed corrections. Sounds good to someone who doesn't know better, but we have copies of the Bible that far precede the days of Mohammed. The 2,000-year-old discoveries of parts of the Bible at Qumran in this generation further prove the validity of the Bible as we have it today, that is, in the versions that stay true to the original. And that's another thing: many "modern" versions of the Bible actually HAVE changed words and even omitted passages, another Satanic ploy, so let the reader be warned that it's best to stay with the old translations relied upon for the past several centuries. Islam claims to have received its teachings from an angel. The Mormons also claim to have received their teachings from an angel. The Bible actually pronounces a CURSE upon them, and it's so important that it repeats it twice: "But even if we, or an ANGEL from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be ACCURSED." Galatians 1:8-9 If your religion was founded by an angel, you're under a curse. I believe that will include all the "apparitions" so many have fallen for. It's interesting that Mohammed's wife's name was Fatima. One of the most important things for the Christian to know well and understand is the tactics of the enemy. How can one function against an enemy if he doesn't know and understand his ways? Satan shows up at the very beginning, in Genesis chapter 3, in the Garden of Eden where God placed our first parents, Adam and Eve. And what does Satan do? He does the very same thing he continues to do today. He asks, "Has God REALLY said...?" The very first act of Satan after the creation of man is to approach them casting doubt on - in fact denying - what God had said. And so it is today. Satan's supreme goal is to attack the Word of God and draw people away from it. He doesn't care what you believe ...as long as it isn't the truth. If your religion's teachings come from a book adding to, or in addition to, the Bible, that should be a glaring signal to you that the age-old tactic of Satan is in play here. Turn from it. It's deception. When the disciples asked Jesus what would be the signs of his return, the very first thing he said was, "Take heed that you be not DECEIVED." One of the greatest signs of Jesus's return today, is that this is the age of deception. Take heed!
