Know The Signal

“WHEN THE LORD SHALL BUILD UP ZION, he shall appear in his glory." Psalm 102:16 The appearance of the Lord in his glory is tied to the generation that sees the Lord build up Zion, which is another name for Israel. Since the year 70 AD, the nation of Israel was in judgment, scattered across the whole earth, banished from their ancient homeland as God had repeatedly warned before he brought judgment. But the end of her long diaspora came in 1948. On the 14th of May, 1948, Israel became a nation again after 2,000 years of being dispersed throughout the world. Since then God has been restoring the Jews to Israel and has been rebuilding their land. Every kind of threat and interference from hell has tried to stop it, but Israel remains - because it is God who is restoring her. This could never happen any other way. In this Psalm, as in other places in the Bible, we see that WHEN THIS HAPPENS, it signals the generation in which the Lord shall appear. "Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all be fulfilled." Luke 21:32 It is in this generation that understanding has been given on this subject. Many things that were not understood in past generations have been revealed in this one, because the signal had not been given in past generations, but HAS been in this one. That signal? The re-establishment of the nation of Israel in the land of their fathers, something that teachers of previous generations said was impossible. "This will be written FOR THE LAST GENERATION, that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord." Psalm 102:18 One of the key prophecies giving understanding about this was the prophecy given to the prophet Daniel. At the end of the prophecy God said to Daniel: "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book UNTIL THE TIME OF THE END; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." Daniel 12:4 How aptly did the Lord signal the generation in which this was to happen, the generation characterized by great TRAVEL everywhere (running to and fro) and the generation that sees a great increase in KNOWLEDGE. A hundred years ago they traveled by horse and buggy. In this generation they've gone to the moon! And in this generation our whole lives have been changed by the increase of knowledge and technology, as no generation ever before us. Ever. It's all there. What we were told to watch for is before us. The Rapture of the church is imminent and will take place just before the last seven years of Daniel's prophecy begins. Until then, the church is the restrainer of evil, but when the end of the church age arrives, the restrainer will be removed so that Satan can have his hour uninhibited. "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. AND THEN the lawless one will be revealed..." 2 Thessalonians 2:7 The Word of God so many years ago, given to the prophet Daniel as recorded in the Bible's Book of Daniel, pinpointed this generation, and Jesus further clarified it as recorded in Matthew chapter 24 in which he gave the signs of the end for believers to watch for. Those signs, every one of them, are here in our generation, featured on our news media daily. It is only in this generation that they COULD have taken place. Generations ago there were so many things undeveloped that they couldn't possibly have understood. But in our generation, it has all been made clear since the development of world-wide media, radio, television, and the internet. "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed UNTIL THE TIME OF THE END. Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly, AND NONE OF THE WICKED SHALL UNDERSTAND, but the wise shall understand. Daniel 12:9-10 Oh how true. No other generation has been given to understand these things. And notably, when you try to tell these things to the wicked, they simply CANNOT understand. Yet to believers, it is clearly understood. Do YOU understand?
