Is Tolerance The Way To Go In God's Eyes?

“Hear, O my people, and I will admonish you! O Israel, if you will listen to me! There shall be no foreign god among you, nor shall you worship any foreign god." Psalm 81:8-9 Is tolerance the way to go in God's eyes? Is it ok to allow foreign gods to be worshiped in our land? First of all, we have to remember that America is unlike any other nation. America was founded upon the Word of God. Our laws were taken from the Bible. We are not like other nations who worship false gods in ignorance, therefore more is expected from us. Judgment will fall upon America, and the presence of false gods in our land is part of that judgment. We have ALLOWED them to take over to the extent that they already have. This is how far we have fallen. God has given "tolerant" Americans over to their own will, and that means judgment is inevitable. No, it is NOT ok to allow the worship of false gods in our land and America is going to find that out the hard way. We are nearing the Great Tribulation which Jesus said would be a time of horror worse than anything the world has EVER seen since the beginning of time. That will be God's response to false worship. It will be so terrible that unless God shortened those days, no one upon the earth would survive. "For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved..." Matthew 24:21-22 At the end of the seven-year Tribulation Jesus himself will come back to this earth, destroy the wicked, and set up his righteous Kingdom. Scripture tells us that he will rule with a rod of iron. You'd better believe - no false gods will be worshiped in all the earth! And there will be no more need to try to bring the Gospel to the unbeliever, because there will be no more unbelievers. "None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,' for all shall know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them." Hebrews 8:11 How foolish is the country so blessed by God to turn against him just at the time when the Great Tribulation is so obviously almost here. He has raised up men to go forth and warn the people, and they have cried out with the call to repentance. But America looks at them with scorn and sends their children to the libraries to watch drag queens. It's just appalling what is allowed in our once greatly-blessed country. vs 11-12: “But my people would not heed my voice, and Israel would have none of me. So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, to walk in their own counsels." We are a country that has been blessed beyond any other country on the face of the earth, but we have forgotten why that is so. Take for example Haiti. The Haitian government officially dedicated its country to Satan three times. See the poverty and suffering there - obviously Satan does not bless his people. However, our nation has been blessed above all the nations on the earth, but instead of deep gratitude, we have forsaken the God who has blessed us. Judgment upon America will be greater than that of other nations, because we are not ignorant, and multitudes proclaim that they no longer want his yoke upon them. They want "freedom" to kill children, to revel in perversions, to defy God to his face. Therefore the country won't survive when judgment falls, as it fell in Israel for the same reasons. vs 13-14: “Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways! I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries." Israel fell, and America will fall. It's inevitable. There is still time, although the age is coming to a close. Once the door has been shut there will be no more outstretched hand of mercy. Oh people, turn back to the Lord. Rebellion is not worth it. Surrender your stubborn heart and come back to walking in his counsels, that you might be saved.
