“In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and his children will have a place of refuge.” Proverbs 14:26 Strong confidence… Many people have a faulty idea of who God is. We tend to bring him down to our level, the Grandpa in the sky. If only we could get a glimpse of the glory of God - it would overwhelm us. The one we turn to when we've lost our glasses or our keys, is the same one who creates stars and galaxies, who keeps them on their courses and who calls each one by name. “He counts the number of the stars, he calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; his understanding is infinite.” Psalm 147:4-5 Expand your concept of who God is, and then you will come to the strong confidence he promises. No storm will come to you unless so ordained by God, and if ordained by God, there is a reason, a purpose, an intent behind it, one you will thank and praise him for later. Terrible times are coming. Have you forgotten the CERN project? Top scientists and physicists have built the largest machine in the world, seventeen miles long and hundreds of feet below the surface of the earth - to collide atomic particles. They are attempting to break out of the dimensions in which we live, and pierce through to "other dimensions," having no idea what those other dimensions consist of. CERN says they have encountered beings not human. They don't know that these beings are not benevolent.

Other top scientists have warned that this could bring about terrible calamities on the earth, earthquakes, volcanoes, weather anomalies, and even worse. They are opening “portals” for demonic spirits to come into our realm, having no idea that these beings are malevolent and will bring untold terror upon this earth. If you've noticed a drastic increase of violence upon the earth, and an inexplicable assault of sexual perversity everywhere, it may be due to what has been released upon the earth from CERN.

Outside CERN The god Shiva, "the god of destruction." What is coming is more terrible than what has ever taken place on earth. Jesus said: “For then there will be great tribulation, SUCH AS HAS NOT BEEN SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD until this time, no, nor ever shall be.” Matthew 24:21 These things are going to bring forth the wrath of God upon the world of the ungodly. But born-again believers in Jesus Christ, are not destined for this wrath. Jesus told us specifically how to pray about this: “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy TO ESCAPE all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:36 When people call you an "escapist," wholeheartedly agree with them. Jesus Christ TOLD YOU TO BE. Commit yourself into the hands of the Savior. We don’t know at what point he will come for us, and until then we may go through some hard times. But we can go through them with a supernatural peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding: “…the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 That peace GUARDS our hearts. If you have ever experienced that peace, you know that it truly is God-sent because you have had that peace when you should have been in terror. Corrie Ten Boom’s sister Betsie said before she died in the concentration camp, “There is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still.” Betsie had been given that peace. It’s a depth of peace indescribable unless one has experienced it, and it will be ours no matter what happens to us. He will keep us. His peace will embrace us. We will be kept in that “strong confidence.” We will find our refuge IN HIM. I heard a pastor speak of his ordeal going through cancer. He said that he almost could wish to go through it again because the presence of the Lord he experienced in his suffering was unlike anything he had ever known before. What we fear is fear. But we should not fear, because the God who created the galaxies, and the God who saved the believer, will be present in a tangible and experiential way no matter what. And when we come through it and find ourselves in heaven, we will laugh at the fear we had, and we will rejoice for all eternity in this great and wonderful God who brought us through it all. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Revelation 12:11 Speak to your heart. Tell your heart that in God there is NO fear, for he is our confidence, he is our refuge, and he will be our peace - no matter what.

"Moreover all the leaders of the priests and the people transgressed more and more, according to all the abominations of the nations, and defiled the house of the Lord which he had consecrated in Jerusalem." 2nd Chronicles 36:14 God is very, very patient. But the time inevitably has to come when judgment will fall. Yet his mercy has gone before him as he has pleaded with mankind to come to repentance. vs 15: "And the Lord God of their fathers sent warnings to them by his messengers, rising up early and sending them, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place." Some ask why judgment has not fallen on America. The answer is the patience of God. In spite of the gross offenses against him, still he has held out for the sake of anyone left who will come into his Kingdom. He could have put America down a long time ago and he surely would have been more than justified in doing so. The patience of God has waited far longer than anyone expected. Still, he has sent more men of God to warn, but at this point few are heeding and many are scoffing. Some are openly defiant. vs 16: "But they mocked the messengers of God, despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, TILL THERE WAS NO REMEDY." The day is in sight when God's case against America will be beyond remedy. Believers are all aware of it and shudder, because they know a people cannot scoff and mock and despise his Words forever, there will be a time when it has gone beyond remedy. vs 17: "THEREFORE he brought against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, on the aged or the weak; he gave them all into his hand." Therefore HE allowed a man-made vaccine to cause the deaths of many. Therefore HE allowed evil men to bring about a Satanic "New World Order." Therefore he did not prevent all manner of evil from covering the land. But ...the worst is yet to come. When great judgment falls upon an evil world, there will be no remedy. Before it happened, the Lord took a very long time to warn the people. He did not just arbitrarily rise up and smite the nation, no, he sent men - many men - to speak to the people, to warn them, to bid them come to repentance. Judgment is not God's will, repentance is God's will. His mercy has held out for a very long time, giving men space to repent. But there is a time set, a limit, and when the evil goes beyond remedy then judgment will fall and it will be without mercy. It will come upon young and old alike, upon their children, upon all that is dear to them. They will cry, but it will be too late just as it was too late when the rain began falling in Noah's day. When the day of repentance has passed and judgment falls, God's mercy will not be entreated. It will simply be ...too late. The door of the ark is closed. Judgment falls. vs 19: "Then they burned the house of God, broke down the wall of Jerusalem, burned all its palaces with fire, and destroyed all its precious possessions." And so it will be in America and in the rest of the world. It's a sad, sad thing, because many will die. And they will die in their sins. Beyond remedy. Here's a final call to anyone who can possibly hear it: come to repentance now while it is still possible. God will receive you no matter what you've done, no matter how evil you've been, no matter how you've spoken against him. But come now. Just come now!

"There was a man of Benjamin whose name was Kish... And he had a choice and handsome son whose name was Saul. There was not a more handsome person than he, among the children of Israel. From his shoulders upward he was taller than any of the people." 1st Samuel 9:1-2 Israel demanded a king so they could be "like all the nations." In other words, God wasn't enough for them, they wanted to be like everyone else. Samuel who was the prophet at the time, brought their words to the Lord, and the Lord answered him: “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them." 1st Samuel 8:7 Ok, so you want to be like everyone else? Here's your king! Saul was a very attractive man, "a head and shoulders" man, tall and handsome, and they were overjoyed to have him as their king. But as the story goes on, they came to see what kind of man this handsome one really was. He was not a man after God's own heart, and he failed miserably. In the end, he disobeyed God and lost the kingdom because of that disobedience. But not only did he lose the kingdom - he went to a medium in the town of Endor seeking information about a battle he was planning to engage in - and for that - for going to a medium - he lost his life. Thus was the story of the handsome king they demanded. This was the end result of the head and shoulders man. "All that glitters is not gold..." The fallen human being lacks wisdom, and when facing a choice they look with the eye. If he's looking for a spouse, a man will ask is she thin, curvy and beautiful? A woman will ask is he tall and handsome? The attractiveness of a person can so overwhelm the senses that that's all one sees, the beauty, the attractiveness. A man wants to swoon just at looking at her, and that's where he can make the biggest mistake of his life, because outward beauty has absolutely nothing to do with the person's character. In fact, it often conceals pride and vanity that the beautiful one acquires from the accolades of people. They are often spoiled, often narcissists. Beauty is terribly deceiving. It can destroy a life. In fact, a beautiful person is oftentimes a vain and proud person because he or she has been adored for their beauty, and that kind of thing causes pride and destroys the soul. Pride is a sure and certain destroyer. After the miserable failure of Saul, God set up his own man to be king over Israel. He didn't look for another handsome man, in fact the story is quite comical. God sent the prophet Samuel to the family of Jesse of Bethlehem, and Samuel told Jesse that one of his sons was going to be chosen as Israel's king. So Jesse calls his firstborn who would surely be chosen, but the Lord said that no, this is not the one. Surprised, Jesse presents his second son thinking this must really be the one then - but the Lord said no, this is not the one. Confused now, Jesse sent each of his sons down to the 7th, but not one of them was chosen. What to do? Samuel asked Jesse if these were all his sons and Jesse answered that there was one other, the youngest, and he was out tending the sheep. Impossible! The firstborn overlooked and now we are to bring the youngest? The one who was out in the fields??? Can't be. Well ok, someone go get him. And when the youngest, David, was brought before the prophet, there he was - this is the one God has chosen to be king over Israel. Can you imagine all of them standing there with their mouths open, incredulous? God said to Samuel: “Do not look at his (Saul's) appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him; for the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1st Samuel 16:7 If you look for beauty you will be disappointed because beauty is very deceiving. Beauty walks hand in hand with pride and there isn't a greater destroyer than pride. Pride is what brought Satan down. He was the most beautiful of all the angels, and his pride brought him down. "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Proverbs 16:18 "By pride comes nothing but strife..." Proverbs 13:10 "When pride comes, then comes shame;" Proverbs 11:2 The moral to the story is to bring every decision before the Lord and be careful to follow his leading. If you judge according to your fallen human nature, if you judge according to your eyes, if you judge with wrong motive, your wrong decision will bring you much misery in life. Better to let the Lord lead, and to follow his lead even if it doesn't flatter your ego. Especially if it doesn't flatter your ego.
