Hear The Word Of The Lord: “When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, YOU SHALL NOT learn to follow the abominations of those nations.” Deuteronomy 18:9 If you're a believer, then you are not to follow the abominations of the world you live in. Believers are called to be separate from the world. The following is a list of “abominations” according to the Word of God: vs:10-11 "There shall not be found among you: anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, (fortune teller) or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, (a magician) or one who conjures spells, or a medium, (a channeler) or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead." There is power in the occult, but it is power from God's enemy. It is the dark side, the kingdom of Satan. Does one turn to God's enemy to receive anything supernatural? The Word of God says that any involvement in any occult or New Age practice is spiritual adultery, going to the dark side rather going to God alone. For anything of a supernatural nature, whether guidance, or help of any kind, the Word of God tells us we are to go to God alone. Any involvement in the occult is so serious that it brings judgment on the one involving himself in it not only to him, but to his children down to the third and fourth generation. Satan doesn't care how you open the door to him, he just cares that you open it. Involvement in the occult always brings a curse. Involvement in the occult is deadly. God states that not only are these abominations in his sight, but THOSE WHO DO THEM are an abomination before him. vs 12: "FOR ALL WHO DO THESE THINGS ARE AN ABOMINATION TO THE LORD..." A believer in Jesus Christ is forbidden from involving himself in the things of Satan in any way, shape, or form. Those believing in Christ are to be SEPARATE. “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” 2nd Corinthians 6:17

"I will ransom them from the power of the grave, I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! O Grave, I will be your destruction!" Hosea 13:14 The resurrection of the dead is not just a New Testament doctrine, even in the Old Testament the Lord shows the resurrection of the dead. "For I know that my Redeemer lives, and he shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that IN MY FLESH I shall see God..." Job 19:25-26 "Your dead shall live; together with my dead body they shall arise." Isaiah 26:19 The day is coming when the graves will open and all will be resurrected, some to life, some to everlasting torment. "And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt." Daniel 12:2 Death is the result of the curse that came upon the human race when Adam rebelled against God and brought sin into the world. In the record found in Genesis chapter 3, God had clearly told him and his wife Eve that they were free to eat the fruit of all the trees except for one, and God warned him to stay away from that tree, that there would be a terrible consequence should they eat the fruit of that one tree, that the consequence would be that they will die. It was as though God was saying, "that fruit is poisonous, don't touch it because if you do you'll die." But Satan the deceiver came to Eve and told her that WHAT GOD SAID WAS NOT TRUE (which is always his approach) and that in fact, that fruit would make them like God. They believed the lie. And when they ate of the fruit forbidden to them, death came upon them bringing onto all creation the death principle. From that day the death principle brought death to everyone born from them. It was so all-inclusive that it corrupted their DNA. From that day DNA began to degrade and mutate with each new generation until today there are hundreds and thousands of diseases caused by the continuing degrading of DNA in its replication. It's the death principle which rules over all. "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin..." Romans 5:12 But the day will come when the Redeemer, as he promised to Adam, will finally destroy death. Truly, the whole creation awaits the day when the Redeemer, Jesus Christ, will reverse the curse and bring the resurrection of the dead. "For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body." Romans 8:22-23 So the curse of death which subjected us all to death has a remedy, and that remedy is Jesus Christ who redeems us from the curse of sin and death, granting to us eternal life with him in heaven. Science is trying to overcome death but they will never succeed because death is a spiritual issue. They would have to overcome sin, and science is not about to do that. Jesus Christ, and he alone, has the power of victory over death and he alone will destroy the death principle. When he comes he will change everything. He will establish his Kingdom on earth and will destroy all enemies. And ...he will destroy death. "The last enemy that will be destroyed is death." 1st Corinthians 15:26 MORE: Who Is Jesus Christ?

"O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your possessions, this great and wide sea, in which are innumerable teeming things, living things both small and great." Psalm 104:24-25 It is awesome to meditate on the wonders of God's creation. Truly has he made them all in wisdom. I love to look at the animals and observe the "instinct" God has placed in each of them. HOW does the salmon know to swim upstream to the place where it was spawned? How does the squirrel know to forage and store up food for the winter? Indeed, how does the squirrel know that there will BE a winter? How does the bear know to spend the winter in hibernation, without eating or drinking? How do the birds know to migrate south for the winter? How do they know how to fly in formation? What is the attraction of male to female and female to male in every species, which perpetuates the species? Where does that come from? How are dogs attracted to dogs and not to cats? Why not to cats? Indeed, who created this diversity in animals, and fitted each kind with its own "instincts?" What IS instinct? Who Can explain it? It's awesome also to ponder the provision God has placed in all of nature to keep his creation alive. vs 10-13 "He sends the springs into the valleys, they flow among the hills; they give drink to every beast of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst. By them the birds of the heavens have their home; they sing among the branches. He waters the hills from his upper chambers. The earth is satisfied with the fruit of your works!" What a wonder to observe how the Lord has provided springs of water to satisfy the earth and to bring forth food from the ground! How else can one explain the ecology of the earth? What a wonder to observe how perfectly it all works together! vs 14: "He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and vegetation for the service of man, that he may bring forth food from the earth…" When you consider how the world was made with everything provided for man and beast, how can one not bring praise to the God of Wonders who has orchestrated it all! Indeed, if one takes the time to consider all these things, how cannot the heart but swell in adoration to the One who created it! vs 33: "I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being." Watch this clip and let your heart soar! Oh halleluyah, praise the Lord God forever! If you have any doubts, this will be a great help to you.
